Banjo and Kazooie are back behing the wheel, in a Sega racer.
It has been revealed today by Rare that Banjo and Kazooie will appear in Sega's next racing game, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. The bear and the bird first appeared in the Nintendo 64 racer Diddy Kong racing, along with Conker, Pipsy and others. He did not, however, appear in the DS remake, nor did Conker the squirrel. Nearly 8 years after his debut on the track, Banjo reappeared in Banjo Pilot, along with Kazooie and other characters from the Banjo and Kazooie universe such as Mumbo Jumbo, Gruntilda and Bottles. The game wasn't a big success and it passed under the radar. A year ago, Banjo and Kazooie teamed back again against Gruntilda in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. The long awaited sequel to Banjo-Tooie sets Banjo and Kazooie in Showdown Town, where they must collect vehicle pieces and fight Gruntilda to win the deed on Spiral Mountain. Now, they are back behind the wheel in a non-Rare based racer. They will be exclusive in the Xbox 360 version, that will be called Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing with Banjo-Kazooie. Expect to hear more of it pretty soon.
